I found the Awards through an internship opportunity. I’m going in for an interview tomorrow and I’m sure one of the first questions out of my mouth will be, ”Have you heard about Jacque Fresco?”

Living in Brooklyn, I’ve had my first experiences with Jehovah’s Witnesses. They are bent. I felt most presently their need for peace. Peace with God. Those unwilling to attain this peace through Jehovah’s canon are left behind–unfortunate blind souls. If you replace ”God” with ”Ideology” then ours accounts for all, while all others account for themselves. The model presented by the Venus Project and the Zeitgeist Movement and other open source initiatives is that of freedom. We ask each other to free ourselves from our identifications and see the methods at work, as well as more relevant and importable methods.

Most of Coheed and Cambria’s new album ”Year or the Black Rainbow” and Muse’s ”The Resistance” sound with relevant lyrics and powerful music. I recommend these. If you would like links to download either let me know.

I don’t know much about TEAMSPEAK. Could you link me some details, please. There are also Skype and iChat for potential business meetings (1 to 1 at least). iChat lets you share documents, images, etc.

There may be a problem with the ’focused’ approach. We advocate a holistic system. The issue with all the other activist institutions is that they focus on a particular problem. If we are to look at specific problem, I think it should be social inequality.

I’ve been thinking about mass demonstrations, not protests. Art does have its place-especially at this stage in the movement. We should be hard at work promoting these values with visual elements. I’m working on some posters for ”www.zeitgeistmovie.com”, but I want to move for more widespread activism. One idea I had was a single-layer stencil, a barcode or something, worn or sprayed all over as a dropout statement on consumerism. Let’s brainstorm about simple imagery that accesses real values or speaks about the fucked ones we live amongst.

Hey fellow activists. I used to live upstate where i could paint in the street sometimes. Now I live in a city where we’re subject to random searches mid-transit. I’ve been an active member in that I talk my monkey ass off everyday, with fervor. I listen and answer with the consideration Peter has exhibited on the radio address. I feel that we are all working together, and that’s good. Unfortunately however, I’m unemployed. Apparently there’s a figure that represents the percentage of those unemployed who have stopped looking for work. Well, at some point you’re just scroungin’, for lack of a better word. I can’t remember ever being motivated by cash. Nevertheless, we gotta eat. Anyone need painting done?
P.S. I look forward to meeting new people at ZDay!

we should get on this…
Yes! How can [we] find out if Jacque/Roxanne/PJ are in on this?
I will send them an email asking for their permission after I have written up a proposal according to their guidelines. I will keep you guys updated.
don’t mean to play DA but I hope this does not turn out to be another Your Country Your call BS…
lol I will not be surprised since they specifically say in the movie that they are trying to find solutions that economically viable. The video on the homepage mentions how they want to connect people with great ideas with investors lol What if your idea ultimately eliminates money? What investor will want that?
