Pinky’s been thinking a lot about class treason lately: What does it mean that we do so many things in our lives ‘automatically’? What can we really do to make this world better? And what will we have to give up or risk in order to achieve it?

This video documentary has motivated me to pursue my desire to learn on my own. More than just get a simple diploma, a wealth of knowledge that will last generations, and will be a step for my future life. It was very creative and leaves many questions to ask yourself.

…glad to know. The last thing we need is more walking textbooks. There is nothing wrong with textbooks but, there is muuuuch more to everything then static methods of education, name brand schooling and egotistical ‘scolars’. Its like this art piece I made some time ago, it read, “Answers? I want Questions!”. A world full of critical thinkers, I wonder…

Hey red, interesting video-almost a subliminal way of reaching people using computer generated cartoon characters-seems like a good idea for our less willing to listen, entertainment soaked masses! The educational system does seem to be in general, engineered to produce two different classes; either ‘morons’ that don’t really fit in the highly paid fields and become consumers serving other consumers, or relentless business drones bent on success and achieving their place on the corporate ladder. You continue to be a great contributor to this site and this movement with your info gathering-nice work!

Thanks for that, I’m just another drop of water in this ocean of individuals building on other peoples efforts to arrive at a conclusion. That conclusion for me is…we should continue working on creating awareness if we want to see our ideas become a more tangible reality that sustains all life. As far us using unconventional or slightly different methods of conveying a message, I’m all for it. If you look at captain america and red skull, marvel comics has contributed to the engineering patriotism for that audience. This site communicates to a certain audience as well. If there are individuals who can communicate this in, lets say, a musical, it would be better absorbed by people that are into theater. In that setting, a textbook ‘intellectual’ who has not learned to communicate through body movements and singing would be much less effective in creating awareness on the topic. The educational system is suppressive to creativity as a whole. Look at the order of school subjects in public schools, creativity is at the bottom. Ken Robinson points this out, we have to develop creativity to address the problems of our expanding population. Our global institutions of education in general are far from being the epicenters of creative development and its kicking us in the ass and empowering a few. Thanks again.
