Calling out for Z-Day Entertainers

Hello all,

The NYC Z-Day will be held on March 18th. More information coming soon.

Z-Day is traditionally supposed to be more of an information-based event but we feel that mixing it up with entertainment is always a plus. We are looking for about 6 entertainers which will have a maximum of 10 minutes to shine. This includes music performances, acting, stand-up comedy, a short film, anything fun that comes to mind. The rest of the event will be dedicated to lectures, conversations, and general information. For those who are interested please email Jose Garcia astr8tupdude@aol.com. You must send us a sample of your work as a link or audio file so that we can judge on our end. Your deadline to submit is on Friday March 2nd, by 5pm. Shortly after we will let you know if you have been accepted.

Catch Zeitgeist Live TV Show

Zeitgeist Live is a weekly TV and internet show whose purpose is to raise awareness of a Resource Based Global Economy (RBGE) and its potential to improve every aspect of human life. It is produced by ZM Austin, the local Austin chapter of the Zeitgeist Movement. Through the application of the scientific method for social concern, the Zeitgeist Movement and the Venus Project seek to enable the fluid emergence and implimentation of holistic and sustainable technology that will dramatically enhance the standard of living of all humans, while moving toward a more symbiotically sensitive balance between society and nature. It is a vision of intuitive systems, unbridled imagination, and mankind’s rediscovery of the family that it is unto itself.

London Z-DAY 2011 Main Event Live Web-Cast!

Live Webcast of the Z-day Main event in London

March 13th, Sunday 2011 at 1:30pm GMT.

So in Eastern Time it’ll be around 8:30 am

There will be a series of presentations and lectures from various speakers including Ben McLeish from the London chapter,

Will Dixon from the Portsmouth chapter, James Phillips from the Watford chapter and Joe Gosling from the Sheffield chapter.

The founder of The Zeitgeist Movement, Peter Joseph, will also be giving a lecture.

Andy Buxton of The Venus Project Design will also give a presentation about the latest

projects they have been working on over the last year and what their plans are for the future.

As a great addition to the event, an art exhibition provided by The Venus Project Design will be situated in a side room for attendees to explore throughout the day.

This will have the latest 3D renderings as well as an interactive multimedia display.

Starting at 8pm, there will also be the ZeitStock after party with live music from various bands for those that wish to attend.
