The Global Event

The Zeitgeist Media Festival is an Annual, Global and Localised Event where socially conscious artists from around the world unite in a celebration of possibility and hope for a sustainable future for our species.
This 2011 event period is the first global event of its kind and we hope to start a cultural trend where actually caring about each other and the world becomes a common value:

Local Event
The Zeitgeist Media Festival in New York City will be a afternoon, multi-media expression, which will encompass Music, Dance, Visual Art, Film, Comedy, Poetry; Each performance/act communicating gestures of expanded social consciousness, community and sustainable values.

This local event in The National Black Theater in Harlem, shall include:

Zeitgeist NYC Town Hall Meeting

With all the problems that exist in the world – and there are MANY. We could reduce the number of those issues by changing our interactions with each other. More humane, more abundant, more creativity. That is – a resource based economic model.

The Zeitgeist Movement’s Townhall Meetings are live, public events conducted by Official Regional Chapters. These localized events are similar in function to our annual global “Zeitgeist Day” [ZDAY] events but ideally occur monthly, rather than annually. Modeled after patterns proven effective by civil right’s movements historically, the goal is to inform the public of TZM’s understandings and goals and hence grow awareness and membership.

The Zeitgeist Movement NYC Chapter is hosting it;s first Town Hall Meeting this Saturday July 23, 2011 @ 12pm-2:30pm, in Central Park New York;  between The Mall and Terrace DR, a few feet south of the Bethesda Fountain.

Thinking Without Borders Radio Show Hosted by Hans Roy

A quick pre-radio meeting? Some things we could cover include the parameters of the conversation to keep us focused, some bullet points we plan on talking about, and how we want to structure the conversation so everyone participates seamlessly (phone conferences with a lot of people can sometimes get awkward with everybody jumping in at the same time and stuff).
