Teamspeak Weekly Meeting 4/18/2010

Sorry I’ve been MIA. I’ve been busy with some personal stuff.

Here is a quick update from Roberto:

We will be meeting at the South East corner of Washington Square Park (University Place and West 4th Street.)  4/24 at 11 am.

UPDATE:

In effort to spread the word through Universities, we will be doing some outreach at  Washington Square park which is in the center of several NYU buildings hence, the NYU Activism Campaign. This Saturday’s meeting will give us an opportunity to map out what and how we plan to do things while we are at the park. I would like to revisit what everyone can commit to doing (even if its a little, everything counts and what each others strengths are. I recommend us all reading the Zeitgeist Movement Activist and Orientation Guide to internalize what the movement is. (click here to download)

Secondly, there has been a recent interest amongst some members for a future graffiti/street art campaign. To spark some inspiration and as an extra treat, we will be seeing “Exit Through the Gift Shop” at 3:45 at the Sunshine Cinema in Soho. Feel free to invite friends to the movie. I recommend buying the tickets ahead of time.

So far its Laura, Liz and myself. I will see about getting more people to join us.

Thirdly I plan on bringing my camera in case you have any thoughts you wish to share to help promote the movement, possibly to document the meeting and to take some pics if you’re not camera shy of course
