ZA Screening 10/26/09

October 27, 2009 in Screening

I am really glad I got to meet a few of our chapter members yesterday. I really enjoyed the ideas and concerns that were thrown around after the screening and I wish we had more time to discuss them more thoroughly (I didn’t miss the train by I sure got the wrong one *yawn*). With that in mind, I want to plan a day for everyone in the chapter to meet with their local members to discuss methods of spreading awareness and knowledge related to the movement. Then after the meet up’s we can share our thoughts and ideas about the different methods we were able to come up with so that we can implement them locally.

Thanks again,

  1. Ditto, great seeing you there. I wish we had more time as well, had a lot more to say, but there were a lot of people there and it was great hearing other people’s opinions and thoughts.

  2. Sean and I are having a meet this weekend, which might be too short notice for the Buffalo members, but I will talk to him about the space we are using and see what we can do. If not we will be meeting again pretty soon, I’m sure.

    • That’s great! I am actually in the process of setting up a state wide meet up with local groups; the goal will be to come up with effective methods of local level communications. Stay Tuned.

  3. I am all about a state wide meeting! carpooling and megabus.com (tickets as low as $1.50) make it too easy not to do.

I am working on writing a constitution for a “Zeitgeist movement club” it’ll be active on SUNY Brockport by next semester, the template could be used at any SUNY school since the club process is always the same.

I am also still trying to reach Peter Joseph about speaking at the Grafton Peace Pagoda this August, but can’t get a hold of him. If worse comes to worse I will be handing him hard copies of the club template along with a personal invite to the Pagoda when the club and I sang front row seats this march at Zeitgeist day.

  4. The Megabus can get me from Albany to Penn Station for $1.50, if there is an available couch for me to crash on I will attend any NYC meeting

  5. Did you ever make it? What are these meeting like?

    • It was quite nice to meet the members of the movement – two of them anyways. We are going to be doing more online meetings on Ventrillo so everyone can participate.
