People need to become of aware of the technology we have available to us TODAY. I was fascinated by Nikola Tesla ever since I ran across the International Tesla Electric Company and some of there videos demonstrating the technology they were developing one of which was a wireless electricity transmitter. A house equipped with such stuff:
You mount the power unit on the wall,
and just walking into the house with your phone or other device
