Site Communication Guide Lines

September 16, 2009 in Uncategorized

Communication around the website should follow this basic guide lines:

If you want to share your thoughts on a particular topic that is not related to any groups and creating a new group for that topic is not appropriate, then start your own blog and blog your thoughts away. (I can help with that). Every time you make a blog post, it will appear on the main page activity wire.

If you would like to talk about a topic that you think could use its own group, then create the group and use the built in forums within the group to discuss different related topics.

Group wires, and Personal Wires are a means of making a publicly comment, directed towards the person or group you are posting in. Wires should be for general announcements to that person or group. Remember, for discussions though, let’s try and stick with the group forums system.
